The problem
Mvule Trails is a licensed Ugandan tour operator competing for a traveller who is comparing it against operators in Nairobi, Kigali and London before ever setting foot in East Africa. At that stage the website is the entire company. It also had a genuine differentiator, halal travel, that was invisible because nothing on the site was built to carry it.
What we decided
- Make halal travel a destination in its own right rather than a line in a service list, because it is the reason a specific traveller chooses this operator over a larger one
- Build the navigation on three axes, what to do, when to travel and where to go, since that is how somebody actually plans a safari
- Put a price anchor on the homepage. Operators who hide pricing lose the enquiry to the one who does not
- Remove the registration and tax numbers from public pages, keeping the entity name and the licence description, which is what a traveller needs to trust
What we delivered
- Full brand system: emblem and wordmark in forest, ivory and brass, with the geometry corrected so type clears the inner ring on the stamp die
- Nine page website including a filtered journey index, a full journey page built to sell, and a dedicated halal travel page
- Five Word templates, stationery, and two stamp dies
- Five email signature variants and a full social media set
- Enquiry form with live validation and reachable hours shown across time zones
Where it landed
The package reached v2.4 through real revisions rather than a single handover. The client can now brief a printer, a stamp maker or another supplier from the files alone.
